How is mentorship different from taking a course alone?

Do I need to have finished a Mwenaro course first?
No. Mentorship sits on top of any learning path. If you already know some code, we start with an assessment and build a 12-week plan from where you are. Beginners typically pair it with a course like Web Foundations or Full Stack MERN.
What exactly happens each week?
A weekly 1-on-1 session with your mentor, a written sprint plan, code reviews of your assignments, and access to our community Discord where mentors answer questions daily. You leave every week with clear next steps.
Is it really 'job-ready in 12 weeks'?
Twelve weeks is the focused track for developers who already have foundations and need to reach production-level skill. If you're starting from zero, your mentor builds a longer realistic timeline. Every plan ends with a polished portfolio and interview prep.
Can I pay in installments?
Yes. Choose 2 or 3 monthly installments via M-PESA or card, just like our courses. Access unlocks progressively as you pay.
How is this different from Mwenaro Labs?
Labs is where eligible graduates get guided production experience on real client projects. Mentorship is the paid 1-on-1 acceleration layer that gets you to that point — and mentors can guide you into Labs when you're ready.
